Rent Setting Policy
Your rent is set by Meres and Mosses Housing Association in line with its rent setting policies and is payable weekly in advance every Monday. Meres and Mosses Housing Association’s rent setting policies are:
- To cover the association’s costs: of repair and maintenance of the properties, the management of tenancies and loan repayments of the original cost of the buildings;
- To be fair to all tenants: setting rents at levels that can be afforded by households in low paid employment and ensuring that similar properties have similar rents.
We review rents once a year in line with these policies. Any changes come into effect from the first Monday in April.
