About Us

Meres and Mosses Housing Association was formed in 2007 when North Shropshire District Council, following a comprehensive Options Appraisal, decided to transfer all it’s housing stock to a not-for-profit housing association.  Tenants voted overwhelmingly to support this option.
 
MMHA is based in North Shropshire and has three principal ambitions:     photo of housing in market drayton
  • Meeting and exceeding the Decent Homes Standard;
  • Improving services for residents;
  • Providing new homes for future generations.
MMHA currently owns and manages approximately 2,300 properties in and around North Shropshire and will contribute to the group objective of the development of 500 homes over the next 5 years.
 
The Board comprises 12 Board Members - four Tenant Board Members, four Independent Members and four North Shropshire District Council Nominees.
