Take A Seat - Son's Gift To Normanbrook Court
02 September 2008
A proud son and daughter-in-law have presented Normanbrook Court in Market Drayton with a wooden garden bench, in memory of a couple’s 15 happy years there.
Normanbrook Court is managed by Meres and Mosses Housing Association (MMHA) and provides supported housing for 37 residents. Donating the bench Roy Davies said his parents Edgar, and particularly his mother Dorothea Davies, had spent some of their happiest years there.
MMHA Housing Support officer Sue Hands said: “It is a lovely gift and has been welcomed by our residents who love to enjoy the gardens here. It is a delightful way to remember a fabulous couple.”
Normanbrook Court is one of nine supported housing schemes run by MMHA . Supported Housing allows residents independent living, with the security of knowing that a Housing Support Officer is available to check on their well being and to provide help should they need it.
